Let us know if there's anything you need us to assist with (playing quest NPCs, brainstorming, etc.).

To answer your question: Yes, it's absolutely okay to have an assumed NPC crew. They aren't the Best of the Best SSS Tier sailors, but they're competent enough at what they do.

Edited to add: Don't forget to register your crew by filling out the following form and posting a top-level in this post:
